I never thought that I would be eating at an Amish restaurant...but I did today and man was it good! Today, we traveled into Plain City, a town located about 15 minutes south of Marysville and ate at a well known Amish place called the Der Dutchman. I have not quite yet figured out what it means, but as soon as I do I will inform you. I bought a couple of books today detailing the life and culture of the Mennonite and Amish. It is always good to take a look at the community around you and gain a better understanding of their culture historically, socially, and theologically. Tomorrow we will be worship the Lord's Risen Day at Lifepoint Church, http://www.lifepointcolumbus.com.
